If you are anything like me, you’ll must have already read the Attack on Titan manga but watching the same thing in animation is really a different feeling.
Unfortunately according to various reports, we probably have to wait more longer to see the second season of Attack on Titan.
Mangaka Hajime Isayama and director Tetsuro Araki has decided to wait for the manga to get further ahead so that the anime won’t have to create original material and can instead faithfully tell the tale from the source material.
Right now the original manga is only two arcs ahead of the anime and they want atleast four arcs of story in place from the events of the anime.
I think the amount of material available is enough for an entire season but again the producers might be thinking of cutting various parts of story from the manga.
The thing is, first season of Attack on Titan released in 2013 and looking at the pace of the manga I don’t think even in 2016 we might get to see the next season. Probably killing most of the hype before it releases.
Meanwhile we can fill the void by playing the upcoming Attack on Titan games. BTW did you know that Amazon is entering Anime simulcasting with the team that adapted Attack on Titan, this anime titled Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress sure has the vibes, I mean just watch the preview.
