Week in Trailers: Fantastic Four, The Little Prince and More
Last Sunday I missed this featurette, apparently I forgot and after I remembered about it it was already Tuesday. BTW in case you missed some I’ve also covered some of the trailers from the past week. This week we are let off from the train of franchises on to some new exciting ventures like The Last Witch Hunter, The Little Prince & Mr. Holmes. This week was the week of Animated movies as so many wonderfully animated movies were showcased, from the oscar winning Irish movie Song of the Sea to nostalgic Kahlil Gibran’s The Prophet. Following are the trailers and their plot from IMDB.
PLOT: Newlywed couple Ted and Tami-Lynn want to have a baby, but in order to qualify to be a parent, Ted will have to prove he’s a person in a court of law.
The Last Witch Hunter
PLOT: The last remaining witch hunter battles against an uprising of witches in modern day New York.
PLOT: A present-day idyllic kingdom where the benevolent teenage son of King Adam and Queen Belle offers a chance of redemption for the trouble making offspring of Disney’s classic villains: Cruella De Vil (Carlos), Maleficent (Mal), the Evil Queen (Evvie) and Jafar (Jay).
Mad Max: Fury Road
PLOT: In a post-apocalyptic world, in which people fight to the death, Max teams up with a mysterious woman, Furiousa, to try and survive.
The Little Prince
PLOT: A pilot crashes in the desert and meets a little boy from a distant planet.
PLOT: Four young scientists achieve superhuman abilities through a teleportation experiment gone haywire. They must now use these abilities to save the world from an uprising tyrant.
PLOT: An aged, retired Sherlock Holmes looks back on his life, and grapples with an unsolved case involving a beautiful woman.
Song of the Sea
PLOT: Saoirse, a little girl who can turn into a seal, goes on an adventure with her brother to save the spirit world and other magical beings like her.
Kahlil Gibran’s The Prophet
PLOT: Inspired by the classic book by Kahlil Gibran, The Prophet is an animated feature film, with “chapters” from animation directors from around the world.
PLOT: A thousand years ago, one boy with a dream of becoming a great warrior is abducted with his sister and taken to a land far away from home. Thrown into a world where greed and injustice rule all, Bilal finds the courage to raise his voice and make a change. Inspired by true events, this is a story of a real hero who earned his remembrance in time and history.
