Let’s Talk About That Spider-Man Homecoming Trailer

The first trailer for Spider-Man Homecoming just dropped yesterday and it was amazing. Actually, there were two trailers — the US trailer and the International trailer.

The international trailer is so much better than the US one! There’s a lot less high school and a lot more Spider-Man plus more villains (including the Shocker), more action, better music — it’s actually got a lot of the same footage, but it’s edited in such a way to make Homecoming look like a much more exciting movie. Here are both of those trailers in case you missed them.

So, yet another Spider-Man reboot will arrive in 2017 but this time it will be different, hopefully. I mean, Sony isn’t the one’s pulling strings this time, it’s Marvel. So expect a way better Spider-Man movie. Tom Holland is already looking like a perfect fit for the character, although I liked Andrew Garfield more (Sorry Tobey Maguire) I think Tom Holland’s version would do more justice to the character.

The Avengers Breaking Into An Bank

This surely was an amazing scene, “Wait… you guys aren’t the real Avengers. I can tell, Hulk gives it away”

Zendaya

That was the only shot of Zendaya in the trailer. On IMDb, Zendaya’s character is just named Michelle, but who knows if she’ll be an amalgamation of Mary Jane and Gwen Stacy.

Talk about paying homage to Super Bros. Howard Stark’s face is a part of a mural on the wall of the high school that Peter Parker attends. Then there’s Bruce Banner, whose photo appears on the wall of one of Parker’s classrooms.

Ned

Speaking of revealing identity to friends. Ned just breaks the Lego Death Star in surprise. BTW Ned will be our future goblin, Hobgoblin to be precise.

Vulture

Ladies and Gentlemen, here’s the Vulture. Micheal Keaton plays the original Vulture. And he just looks completely badass.

Shocker

Then there are these guys, Just your everyday weapons test in a park.

Holding it together

Okay, this wasn’t that great trailer Marvel could deliver but no Spider-Man movie franchise is complete without this scene. Remember the Train, the Electrodes and now a Ship.

BTW, Spider-Man Homecoming hits theaters on July 7, 2017 so like there’s a lot of time before we see the web swinger rolling in NYC.
