First Trailer For The Upcoming WB Animated Series Justice League Action

While everybody is patiently waiting for the live-action Justice League movie. This week at San Diego Comic-Con, Warner Bros. Animation debuted a new trailer for their upcoming animated series Justice League Action. The series will premiere soon on Cartoon Network and on Toonami in some markets.

Here’s the official synopsis:

Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman lead the DC Comics Super Heroes against their most infamous foes in adventures packed with relentless thrills, fun and action. No need to wait for the good stuff to start, each eleven-minute episode jumps in with lightning-paced action and heroics. Whether defending the Earth, facing invaders from space, or battling the bizarre forces of magic, the always-rotating team of Justice League heroes, are up to any challenge.

Also? It’s fun. It’s a lot of fun. There’s definitely some silliness here—hell, Batman even smirks after drops a minor quip after kicking Mr. Freeze in the head—but anyone looking for some good, straight-up superhero-vs.-supervillain action should be pleased.

DC’s always at its strongest in the animated realm, as shows like Justice League Unlimited and films like Justice League: War prove. So, I’m already excited for Justice League Action.
