Inhumans Probably Won’t Follow Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

With Captain America: Civil War, Marvel will launch its Phase 3 of its Cinematic Universe. There will be a couple of amazing Standalone films to follow this and Inhumans is one of them.

On the small screen arena, ABC is all set to roll out the second season of Agent Carter, while Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is on break. On the other hand Netflix  is all set to reveal Defenders which is like a team-up show including of both Daredevil and Jessica Jones as well as other heroes.

Marvel-Agents-of-SHIELD-FEAT

While many of Marvel’s TV shows feature references and crossovers with the films, the opposite isn’t that true. Just see how none of the Avengers how Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) was revived on the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Right now on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. they are developing the mythos of Inhumans.

Yes the same Inhumans which will receive it’s own film in 2019. Recently Clark Gregg in an interview with Digital Spy said that Inhumans movie will probably be its own cinematic version and won’t be connect to the series.

“The Inhumans movie I suspect will be its own cinematic version. That writer and director will have free reign to do what they want to do with the Inhumans. But hopefully there’ll be some way that our Inhumans connect to that. It’d be too bad if that was wasted.” — Clark Gregg

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D

Raina looked pretty good, sure they can pull off something cool.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. introduced Inhumans in its second season, the series has since explored the origins of Inhumans, understanding of them as beings created by experiments conducted on humans by Aliens.

“What’s kind of necessary for the show to work is that it is it’s own thing and it’s not dependent upon those crossovers. They’re just fun stuff that happens once in awhile. They destroy the organization our show is named after and we have to deal with that! I’ll be interested to see how it evolves, that crossover stuff.” — Clark Gregg

Back during the NYCC 2015, there were rumors floating around concerning the relationship between Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Inhumans. It was rumored that the movie Inhumans was probably cancelled due to an ongoing conflict between Marvel Studios and Marvel TV. Although these rumors were later on debunked but the tension between Marvel’s Film and TV division still continued.

That been said, Inhumans is still far away with no writer or writer attached, just like the rest of Marvel’s Phase 3 movies.
