Why ‘The Flash’ is CW’s Best Show Ever
CW’s The Flash has been on air since October 2014 and all the episodes have been great to watch. The Story had already began when we saw Grant Gustin making an appearance as Barry Allen in Arrow. On my first thoughts the only question I had was “Could he pull it off?”. I mean he did a good job in Arrow as Barry Allen but as the ‘Fastest Man Alive‘, I seriously doubted him. And when I saw the Pilot for The Flash, I simply loved it.
So till now we have had 10 episodes and all have been a pleasure to watch. Talking about the cast, I love it too. The main cast includes Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/The Flash, Candice Patton as Iris West, Danielle Panabaker as Dr. Caitlin Snow, Rick Cosnett as Eddie Thawne, Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon, Jesse L.Martin as Detective Joe West and last but not the least Tom Cavanagh as Dr. Harrison Wells. I love all the characters they are doing a fantastic job. Especially the Cisco character, I think Cisco was made by the creators to give names to all the Villains in this series, I mean it seems logical right? And Dr. Harrison Wells is one of the biggest characters in the whole series. The first 8 episodes gave me an Evil vibe about Dr Wells, and the 9th episode which was a mid-season finale was a like a big bang to the fans of the show.
The Show begins in Central City where Barry Allen is working with Central City Police Dept as a Forensic Investigator. His Mother was murdered when he was young, but he belived that a man in strange lightning killed her, So he decided to investigate that who killed his mother. Dr. Harrison Wells of S.T.A.R Labs has made a particle accelerator. The experiment fails and there is an explosion giving out a huge cloud of Dark Matter in the air. Moments after an explosion at the S.T.A.R Labs Particle Accelerator Barry is struck by lightning in his lab putting him in an Coma for 9 months. He wakes up at S.T.A.R Labs which is now closed down after the explosion. Barry feels that something is strange as he can now run faster. Dr Wells explains him that it happened to as he was hit by the lightning and due to the particle accelerator. But shortly he understands that he is not alone which was affected, The Particle Accelerator has also given birth to other MetaHumans which are trying to harm the city. Barry decides to use his gift to protect Central City from these MetaHumans. Eventually making him the Flash
The Show has been very close to the comics with the storyline bringing in various plots and characters from Golden Age to the New 52. Villains like Weather Wizard, Multiplex, Mist, Captain Cold, Girder, Blackout, Rainbow Raider, Firestorm, Heatwave and also Flash’s biggest archenemy The Reverse Flash has appeared in the show. We don’t know yet which version of The Reverse Flash is on this show, but we will see it soon. The makers are really great at putting us into various anticipations of what might happen next, which is rare these days, but they pull it off very well. Each episode is getting really good at it and the fanbase is going up day by day. Each episode revealed a few secrets about Dr. Harrison Wells and his relationship to Barry and his powers. But recent episodes gave us a glimpse of what real evil is going to come in Barry’s Life. I’am not going to spoil anything, to know more you would have to watch the show for sure.
The Flash airs every Tuesday at 8 on CW.
