Final Fantasy XV Now Has A Release Date, Demo, Anime Prequel & A CG film
Square Enix just went berserk with announcements about Final Fantasy XV last night. I mean seriously, there’s more for you’ll to consume than you’ll will imagine.
First the game, after years of development Final Fantasy XV will finally blast your PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 30, 2016. Did I also mention that there’s a fully working demo which we all can play right now! Exciting isn’t it?
But that’s not all, Square Enix also announced an anime series which will serve as a prequel to the game and the first episode is already available on YouTube.
Titled Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV, the prequel series “delves into the extraordinary friendships between Crown Prince Noctis and his three comrades, setting the stage for the adventure players will set out upon in the action-packed RPG”.
There’s even more, there’s also going to be a feature length CG animated film called Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV, which will tell a story that runs concurrently with the main game. And the Trailer, Ladies & Gentlemen is amazing!
It is loud and clear that Square Enix want to make Final Fantasy franchise a big deal again. The only real question here is, will the game live upto the hype?
“I think certainly the future of Final Fantasy will be influenced by how XV does and what XV is as a game, But rather than thinking of what goes on there I’ve got to concentrate on getting XV out. That’s the future of Final Fantasy as far as I’m concerned.” Hajime Tabata in an Interview with The Verge.
