Everyone reaches to a point where their stress reaches to a ridiculous level. At those moments all you want to do is forget whatever that’s bugging you, so why not watch a lighthearted anime series.

When I say Light-Hearted anime series I mean something that focuses more on comedy and has episodic stories rather than long flow of emotions and in the end a void. Although over the course of the series you will surely dive in the environment and characters of the series that there is ought to be a feeling of emptiness but rather a joyous feeling.

Moving on, it’s not like you’ll can only watch these series after a crazy day but whenever you want as these shows are like those fruits which you can eat throughout the year or like those reruns of those sitcoms like Friends which never bore you whenever you watch them (Although Friends was something else, still). So without anymore nonsense words, here are some good Light-Hearted Anime Shows to Binge Watch.

Tadakuni, Hidenori, and Yoshitake are students at the all-boys academy, Sanada North High School. This is a tale about just that—their daily lives as students. Winning the basketball tournament? Finding true love? You won’t find any of that here. Whether it’s sparking random arguments while hanging out with friends, meeting that one weird co-worker at a part-time job, or even letting imaginations run wild on a windy afternoon, we’ve all experienced the show’s ordinary but true-to-life themes at one point or another.

The setting is a strange school where you may see the principal wrestle a deer or a robot’s arm hide a roll cake. He was going to possess Kohina, but got worried about her living all alone and devotes himself to do chores as if he was her mother. On top of that, the dog ghost Inugami who is infatuated with Kohina and the old good-for-nothing supernatural raccoon dog Shigaraki decide to root themselves with her as well!

Realizing his wrong doing, Hayate proceeds to rescue the girl from the yakuza, who had instead kidnapped her. The girl, as a token of thanks, offers Hayate a job as her butler. Hayate, overwhelmed by her kindness, vows to protect her even at the cost of his life.

Onizuka must slowly win his students over and deal with their mistrust of teachers while handling the distrust of his fellow teachers.

Unfortunately, the jobs rarely go as planned, or pay enough to cover the pain and suffering the employees encounter—never mind their rent.


Just as you know I tried to keep Romance as the last genre while choosing these shows, because I think when you are all stressed out nothing’s better than a good laugh.

    yeah I won’t call haganai light hearted this shit breaks ur heart , also gintama is not all laughs they give u serious arcs and sad arcs . but definitely a +1 for everything else
