Astro Boy Reboot Announced


International Animation Film Market (MIFA) from Annecy Festival announced that Shibuya Productions from Monaco, Tezuka Productions from Japan and Caribara Animation from France are collaborating to bring Astro Boy back to life. The series is supposed to have about 26 episodes each done in 2D/3D CG Animation. Interestingly for the first time the producers of the show have right to create a completely new story. 

Cedric Biscay, the producer of Shibuya Productions clarifies that the reboot Astro Boy will happen in the present time, utilizing contemporary plan and focus on the new era of kids. This anime likewise joins together old characters and components with contemporary touches. The first teaser will be showcased in September.

Other Astro Boy projects incorporate Yomiuri TV Enterprise and Tezuka Productions’ Little Astro Boy, an arrangement of five moment instructive shorts for three-to-five year olds.

Often referred to as the first Anime TV series, but it is not. The first Japanese animated TV series was Manga Calendar, however Tetsuwan Atom was the first Japanese animated TV series to feature an ongoing plot.
