Agent Carter Renewed, Supergirl is Official, Plus More TV Updates

TV shows renewals and cancellations are everywhere, except for a few shows where networks are confused (Like Constantine) everything else is set in stone.

First the New Entries

Sense8 is one of the new series in the list which will premiere on Netflix, it is based around the lives of 8 individuals who share abilities, knowledge and feeling with each other. Yup that seems strangely intriguing, BTW we have a trailer and a release date, which is June 12.

Supergirl, I know everyone knows this is happening but amazingly CBS has officially ordered full season of the series starring Melissa Benoist as Kara Zor-El. We are already hyped about show’s cast and the heavy budget pilot along with the fact that Greg Berlanti is one of the producers makes crossovers with The Flash and Arrow possible, just imagine that.

BBC’s period fantasy drama Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell was picked in 2012 but now it is finally making its debut on BBC One in the UK on May 17, and on BBC America on June 13.

Arrow/Flash Spinoff series finally has a title, The CW has ordered DC’s Legends of Tomorrow to series and here’s the official synopsis, “When heroes alone are not enough… the world needs legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat – one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they have ever known?” If you don’t know this series already features, A.T.O.M, Hawkgirl, Firestorm, Captain Cold, Heat Wave and many more are yet to be announced.

Then Renewals

As far as the renewals go, I was just waiting for Agent Carter and iZombie to get renewed because they are brilliant shows as far as others go, Agents of Shield, Orphan Black, Gotham, The Last Man on Earth & Once Upon a Time also add up to that list. Heck even Scorpion id renewed.

And Cancellations

phineas and ferb

Summer is over for Phineas and Ferb as the series is finally going to end, it was a brilliant series and like many Disney XD shows it will get a amazing farewell with a 73 hour marathon leading into the finale. That’s an extravaganza. Plus there is a high possibility of Constantine getting cancelled but network isn’t sure yet.

The Messenger

The Messenger, who watched this show?! but anyways it is getting cancelled, even Resurrection was cancelled by ABC which actually wasn’t that bad.
